Utah Author's Day Event
Saturday, Dec. 6th from 1-4pm
Drop by our open-house style Utah Authors Day event, sponsored by The League of Utah Writers. Meet 24 local authors, who write for children, tweens, teens, and adults; there will be something for EVERYONE! Waffle Love Food Truck will be serving from 12:30-4pm for this event.
Join in a breakout session: including children's storytime, readings, panels and workshops throughout the event. Enter to win raffle prizes donated by authors or a pair of free tickets to our Jane Austen Birthday Tea Party on Dec 16! Winners do not have to be present to win!
Stop by the free gift wrap station and walk away with holiday gifts ready to go! It will be a book lover's dream come true!

An Austentatious Birthday Tea Party
Tuesday, Dec. 16 @ 6pm
$5 Ticketed Event (Register Here)
Celebrate with us as Jane Austen turns 250 today! We highly encourage donning your finest regency and tea party attire!
Registration Required, Tickets are $5 each and include tea and other warm drinks in a commemorative mug and tea party treats. In addition to your commemorative mug, there will be chances to win fun prizes and giveaways! Share your Jane Austen knowledge in a friendly trivia game, learn to play the Regency favorite card game Whist, and enjoy the company of other Austen enthusiasts!
Judith Hale Everett, local Regency romance author, will share a behind-the-scenes look at the customs and beliefs of Jane Austen’s time, how they influenced her writing, and how she utilizes them in her books. Each table will have a local Regency romance author to get to know, with opportunity to chat with and purchase books from all 12 visiting authors after the presentation.
Visiting Authors are:
Judith Hale Everett, Rachel Nickle, Michele Paige Holmes, Brooke Hampton, Jana Perkins, Kimberly Loper, Julie Wright, Samantha Hastings, Heather B. Moore, Rebecca Anderson, Karen M. Edwards, and Rebecca J. Greenwood.
Ages 13+ would be most interested in the presentation, but if you have 10-12 yo girls who LOVE all things Jane Austen and would enjoy the event, please feel free to bring them along!.png)
The Polar Express Interactive Movie
Thursday Dec. 18 @ 4pm
The library is playing The Polar Express with fun surprises throughout the movie
including hot cocoa and marshmallows with a fun interactive packet for everyone.

Fall Reading Challenge 2025: Autumn Book Quest (Adults)
August 11th to December 22nd
The challenge spans the entire 5 month block for the rest of the year, however there are monthly challenges which, when completed, earn a monthly prize and 1 ticket into the grand prize drawing in December.
There are 5 monthly prizes and 5 tickets total that can be earned.
Prizes will be handed out until December 31st, while supplies last.

Hands-On Heritage
4th Tuesday of the Month @ 6pm
Join us each month for a handy new class series to learn a traditional craft or skill. Each month a community artisan will present a class on their craft. Some classes may have registration required and limited space.
All ages welcome, recommended for 10+
Under 12 must be accompanied by adult.
(Under 8 will most likely not enjoy these classes and their accompanying adult will most likely not be able to engage in the class fully.)

The Commonplace Society
Twice a Month on Fridays @ 5:30pm in the Teen Program Room
Register Here - For ages 13+.
The Commonplace Society is a creative journaling club for ages 13 and older.
Together we’ll build a “book of everything”—a mix of writing, collage, quotes, lists, and more—while learning about the history of commonplacing (zibaldone) and the benefits of journaling, from reducing anxiety to preserving memories.
We meet twice a month to practice techniques, keep up the journaling habit, and explore with plenty of creative supplies (stickers, washi tape, stamps, and more). Registration is required once for the series. Space is limited, and the program is only for ages 13+.

BYOB: Bring Your Own Board Game
Every 3rd Friday 6-8pm, Wonderland Conference Room
If you love board, card , or tabletop games,
come join us to play with fellow game enthusiasts.
Each month will have a theme to help you pick
which game to bring for a chance to share some of your favorites.
Come whether you have a game or not.
Ages 19+, no registration required.

Community Emergency Preparedness Class
Every Last Wednesday, Heritage Room
(Excluding Library Closures in Nov and Dec)
Register via Jotform, ages 18+.
This interactive, hands-on class will help you learn how to make your own emergency plan. Includes practical topics like first aid, emergency communication, food/water storage, 72 hour kits, and more. Offered by Spanish Fork City Emergency Management.

Computer Skills Series - Fall Session: Sept 8 - Nov 10
