Auditions

Auditions will be held April 24, 25, 6-9 pm;  26, 9 am-Noon. They will be held in the choir room at Diamond Fork Middle School, 50 N 900 E in Spanish Fork.

Callbacks by invitation only on May 3. If there are conflicts on the 3rd, please reach out via sfct@spanishfork.gov and we will make an accommodation.

Come prepared with 24 to 32 bars or 30 to 45 seconds of an upbeat, modern musical theater song. Please provide a backing track to sing with (audio equipment will be provided). Please download your song to your device before the auditions. Don't count on being able to access the internet at auditions, service is unreliable. You will also be asked to learn a short dance and read a few lines.

If you are cast in the show, please plan on attending the opening cast meeting on May 7 at 6 pm in the Diamond Fork Middle School cafeteria.

We encourage performers of all backgrounds (races, ethnicities, genders, abilities, and identities) to audition. Our goal is to create a space where diverse perspectives are valued and every performer feels empowered to share their talents.

Age range: We have limited roles for children ages 8-13. Children ages 8-13 must have a parent at every rehearsal. This is a great opportunity for families to audition together (or plan to attend each rehearsal with your child).  

We will have a large teen/adult ensemble. Ages 14+ may audition/attend rehearsals without a parent. 

Rehearsal start date/schedule: In early May, rehearsals will generally be Tuesday-Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings with additional days as we get closer to show dates. Additional rehearsals may be involved depending on the role.
