Referendum Information

This page provides official information about the referendum petition seeking to repeal Spanish Fork City Ordinance No. 16-2026, related to data centers and onsite power generation. Residents can review the Proposition Information Pamphlet, referendum petition, ordinance, and instructions for removing a signature from the petition.

 

If you have signed the referendum petition regarding Spanish Fork City Ordinance No. 16-2026 (Data Center and Onsite Power Generation), you may request to have your signature removed.

To do so, submit a written request to the Utah County Clerk that includes:

  • The name of the referendum petition

  • Your full name

  • Your registered voting address

  • Your handwritten signature

  • The date you signed the removal request

Requests must be delivered to the Utah County Clerk. Requests cannot be submitted by email, electronically, or by prepaid mail.

Your request must be received by 5 p.m. on the earlier of:

  • The first business day at least 30 calendar days after you sign your removal request; or

  • The first business day at least 45 calendar days after your name is posted as a verified petition signer.
