Project Completion Expected in April 2027
Canyon View Park Pond Improvements
Spanish Fork City is improving the pond at Canyon View Park to create a healthier environment for fish and a better experience for anglers, families, and park visitors.
The project includes deepening the pond, creating new fish habitat, installing an aerator fountain, improving shoreline access with boulders, extending the existing fishing dock, adding an ADA-accessible fishing platform, and planting additional shade trees.
Work began in July with the draining of the pond. Excavation and infrastructure improvements are scheduled for October, followed by construction of the ADA ramp, fishing docks, and boulder shoreline in early 2027. The project is expected to be completed in April 2027.
The improvements are funded through the Utah Watershed Restoration Initiative, Utah Outdoor Recreation, Spanish Fork RAP Tax, and Spanish Fork Parks and Recreation.
