REC CENTER CONSTRUCTION UPDATE - November 2024
Spanish Fork, UT — Great progress is being made on the Spanish Fork recreation, aquatic, and community/senior center! The building is getting covered with roofing material and ready for winter.
The construction of the building is split into three areas, A, B, and C. Area A includes the locker rooms and indoor pool area - excluding the competition pool. Area B includes the competition pool, boiler, electrical, and chemical storage. Area C includes the community/senior center, multipurpose gym, fitness area and track, and administrative offices.
Structure Updates
Area A:
- Pool footings were all poured.
- Overhead duct work is nearing completion.
- Stairs and masonry for dive pool structure are complete.
- Roofing installation in progress.
Area B:
- Overhead mechanical is complete.
- Overhead electrical is complete.
- Tnemec paint work started.
- Roof insulation completed.
- Roof Membrane installation in progress.
Area C:
- Steel decking nearing completion.
- Roofing work will start in a couple of weeks.
- Structural Steel running track starting.
- Exterior framing ongoing around the building.
Timeline Updates
The project is still on track for a Fall 2025 opening!
