SPANISH FORK, UT — Spanish Fork Police Department is investigating a tragic crash involving a motorcycle and a truck that occurred Wednesday, July 2, 2025.
The first call reporting the crash came in at 3:36 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of 600 East and 300 South, where a man, likely in his 60s, who was riding the motorcycle, sadly died from his injuries at the scene. The cause of the crash is still under active investigation, and officers are working to gather all the facts to understand what happened.
The intersection and surrounding area have been closed to traffic to allow for a thorough investigation. The road closure is expected to last several hours. Drivers are asked to avoid 300 South and the area within a block or two on both sides of 600 East, and to use alternate routes if possible.
“Our hearts go out to this man’s family and loved ones during this tragic time,” said Chief Matt Johnson.
