Spanish Fork, Utah — Residents in the Maple Mountain area may notice a large presence of emergency vehicles, personnel, and equipment tonight, Wednesday, October 8, between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. at Maple Mountain High School.
This is a planned emergency training exercise, not a real emergency. The exercise is being conducted by Spanish Fork Fire & EMS, Intermountain Health, and multiple regional partners to simulate a large-scale emergency response.
The training will include emergency vehicles, lights, and equipment in use at and around the school. Residents are asked not to be alarmed and to avoid the training area during the exercise.
These coordinated drills are a key part of community preparedness and help ensure that local emergency responders are ready to act quickly and effectively in real-world situations.
