Spanish Fork Airport regulations are intended to support the safe and orderly use of the Airport. Airport users, tenants, businesses and visitors are responsible for following applicable City Code and Airport requirements.

Anyone planning to operate a drone within 5 miles of Spanish Fork Airport is requested to contact the Airport Manager before flying.

Liability insurance certificates must list Spanish Fork City, its elected and appointed officials, employees, volunteers and agents as additional insured.
Required coverage limits are:
- $1 million per occurrence
- $2 million aggregate
Vehicles Operating on the Ramp
Anyone operating a vehicle inside the Airport Secure Area must have a current pilot certificate or be escorted by someone who does.
Other individuals who need to drive on the airfield may do so after being briefed by Airport Management.
Driving on the runway or on Taxiway Alpha northwest of A2 without prior authorization may result in a fine of up to $1,000.
Vehicles and trailers parked inside the Airport Secure Area for more than 60 minutes must display an Airport parking decal.
Hangar owners and annual tie-down patrons receive decals for personal vehicles. Vehicles should be parked adjacent to the patron's hangar or within the patron's tie-down space without interfering with aircraft movement.
Commercial airport users who need additional parking must establish a parking plan with the Airport Manager.
During snow removal season, unattended or overnight parking inside the secure area is not allowed unless the vehicle is completely inside a tie-down space or hangar.
Parking for less than 60 minutes in designated parking spaces does not require a parking decal.
After a warning, improperly parked vehicles may be subject to a $50 fee. Unpaid fees may result in loss of parking access, civil action, towing or booting at the owner's expense.
Airport hangar and tie-down tenants may rent an assigned space in the designated long-term trailer parking area when space is available.
Outside the designated long-term trailer parking area and public parking lot, trailers may not be parked for more than 10 days.
RVs and camp trailers may not be parked inside the Airport Secure Area unless they are located inside a hangar.

Hangars that share utilities must have an agreement covering:
- Maintenance of utility lines
- Payment of utility bills
- Responsibility for lost water and related damage when water service is shared
A copy of the agreement must be filed with the Airport Manager. Failure to provide an agreement may result in the shared utility being shut off until the requirement is met.
Outside mechanics may occasionally perform work at Spanish Fork Airport if they:
- Hold a valid FAA license for the work being performed
- Hold a business license with another municipality for that type of work
- Perform the work at an Airport location leased by the owner of the aircraft being serviced
The Airport Manager may provide written permission for work to take place at another Airport location in special circumstances.
Failure to meet these requirements may result in the mechanic losing authorization to work at Spanish Fork Airport. Reinstatement requires a petition to the Airport Advisory Board.
Airport development proposals must go through the City's Airport Development Application process. Applications require a concept plan, elevation and applicable fee, followed by review and consideration by the Airport Development Review Committee, Airport Advisory Board and City Council.
