The Engineering Division oversees construction associated with new development and public infrastructure to help ensure work meets Spanish Fork City standards.

Inspections & City Tests

Schedule an Engineering inspection or City-performed test for public improvements and development work, including:

  • Sewer laterals
  • Water laterals and meters
  • Curb, gutter, and sidewalk
  • Road subgrade
  • Road base
  • Underground electric
  • Chlorine tests
  • Pressure tests
  • Excavation permits (select Shawn Jorgensen as inspector)

Schedule Inspection or City Test

Materials Testing

Schedule testing for construction materials to confirm they meet City standards, including:

  • Concrete testing
  • Density or compaction testing
  • Asphalt testing

Excavation Permits

An excavation permit is required for applicable excavation work within the public right-of-way. Submit an excavation permit application through CitizenServe.
