Recycling at a Glance

  • Recycling is collected every other week.

  • Current pricing is available on the Utility Rates page.

  • Paper, cardboard, plastic containers, tin cans and magazines can all go in the same bin.

  • Review accepted and prohibited items on the SUVSWD recycling page or Republic Services recycling page.

  • Residents may opt out after six months by submitting the Garbage and Recycle Can Request Form.

  • Collected recycling is taken to a material recovery facility, where it is sorted and prepared for reuse.
