Classes & Training
Emergency Preparedness Classes
Spanish Fork Emergency Management offers classes to help residents build practical emergency response and preparedness skills. Current offerings include Basic Life Support certification and a free monthly emergency preparedness class series.
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Learn CPR and other lifesaving skills through an American Heart Association Basic Life Support course. Certification is valid for two years.
When: Last Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
Where: Spanish Fork Police Department, 789 W Center St
Cost: $45 per person
Certification: Two-year American Heart Association certification
Topics include:
- CPR for adults, children and infants
- Rescue breathing
- AED use
- Choking response
- Opioid overdose response
Emergency Preparedness Class Series
Spanish Fork Emergency Management offers a free monthly class series at the Spanish Fork Library. Each class focuses on a different emergency preparedness topic and is taught by local experts.
When: First Wednesday of each month
Time: 6:30 p.m.
Where: Spanish Fork Library
Cost: Free
First Aid Training
First aid training is also available upon request. Topics may include bleeding control, broken bones and sprains, diabetic emergencies, heat and cold injuries, poisoning and stroke care.
